They say that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but we have high hopes that our team's trip all the way from Miami to the Shot Show and Conference there next week pays dividends for a long time to come.

Once a stretch of lonely desert, Las Vegas eventually became the glittering entertainment hub it is today. As our business continues to grow and we set our goals yet higher, we can use the image of booming Vegas as evidence that visions, when backed up by hard work, can become reality.

Good business is all about relationships and networking, and the Shot Show will give us an opportunity to meet face-to-face with others working in this exciting industry.

Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT Show) and Conference is the largest and most comprehensive trade show for all professionals involved with the shooting sports, hunting and law enforcement industries. It is the world's premier exposition of combined firearms, ammunition, law enforcement, cutlery, outdoor apparel, optics and related products and services. The SHOT Show attracts buyers from all 50 states and more than 100 countries. The SHOT Show is owned and sponsored by the National Shooting Sports Foundation and is produced and managed by Reed Exhibitions.

Sun Capital Rescues Point Blank

The biggest news to hit the safety and security industry this past year was Sun Capital's rescue of one of the companies whose products we resell, Point Blank Body Armor. The sale was approved by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware on October 28, 2011.

"A new chapter in our corporate evolution has begun, and we can now focus fully on executing our strategy and exceeding the expectations of our customers," said Jim Henderson, CEO of Point Blank Solutions, in a press release. "I am proud of the collective efforts of the Point Blank team. We have all worked diligently to move our business forward through this reorganization process. We are especially pleased to have the support of Sun Capital, given their strong track record, their understanding of our industry, and their commitment to growing our business."

Point Blank Solutions Inc., through its subsidiaries Point Blank Body Armor ("PBBA") and PACA Body Armor ("PACA"), manufacturers and markets protective technologies, such as bullet, fragmentation and stab resistant apparel, and related ballistic accessories. The Company's solutions are used domestically and internationally by military, law enforcement, security and corrections personnel, as well as by government agencies.
